This repair kit fixes the problem of the rusted/broken off lockdown tabs that hold in the fuel tank sending unit.

Stainless steel lock ring and 8 hold down tabs to secure the fuel tank area from leaking. 2 heavy duty gaskets that are fuel grade. Once this kit is installed, there is no need to remove the large gasket and lock ring in the furture if a problem should arise with the sending unit again. Simply remove the 8 tabs and lift your sending unit out and put a new one in and reuse the small gasket on your new sending unit and screw the 8 tabs down again. This being able to reuse everything in this kit.
